Toxic masculinity?

This brave new world we live in is, frankly, full of shit. All it exists to do is point out what is wrong with us. Well, mostly men. Well, mostly western men. Well, American men in particular.

But that besides, now if you make note of a woman having "a high body count", something that will never mean to me what it does to these young people, you are ‘slut shaming’. Oh, well, pardon me. But if a dude jumps in a lot of sacks with different chicks, well, that’s toxic.

I bear witness to the attached link, an article on the character Reacher from a show by the same name. Apparently, him being a super chad, a mega dude who can bang any hot chick who shows an interest, is a ‘toxic trait’. How’s that different from slut shaming?

Our whole society is slightly insane, and shit like this really draws attention to the skewed world view of the gatekeepers and how they try to create a vision of how people, certain people, should operate. Frankly, I’m sick to death of it. Reacher is a serious chunka dude. When he takes his shirt of there probably isn’t a dry seat in the house. He’s built like a brick shithouse and even any male can’t help but say; wow. As a species, we designed to be attracted to a physical ideal, be that a curvy butt, or a cut guys torso. And frankly, it should be none of anyone’s business what pursuits someone puts that body to except consenting partners, who should then decide if that body count matters to them. All I have to say is to repeat my Junior High sex ed teachers lesson; when you sleep with someone, you’re also sleeping with everyone they’ve ever slept with. So, in that way, body count could well be an apt term.

Enjoy.
